Well, we figured (not to burst anyone’s bubble, but to educate people) on the truths ans myths relating to making a fake id. You can get a fake id, but it’s not as easy as some web sites might make it seem! Read on!

Fake ID Templates

Lots of peopl ehave been looking for fake id templates (i.e. where can I find them, download them for free, etc.) or similar information on how to make a fake id lately. A lot of people seem to be under the impression that it’s really easy to make a fake id, who knows why they think that’s so? You can easily make a crappy looking id that no one would take (i.e. you wouldn’t get into clubs, buy beer, etc) – but why would you want that? Most of those searches we suspect are from students who have seen a friend get a crappy id, and now want one for themselves.

How to create a fake id – if only it were that simple!

How to create a fake id

Creating Front of ID
First you will need to create an ID on your computer. Linkbase has a good Florida drivers license Photoshop template available for download. You can make this look amazing, and all it takes is a basic grasp of Photoshop.

Creating Back of ID
Next you will need to create a back for your ID. Make sure you edit the image properties to make it the EXACT same size as the front of your ID. You will have to create the back yourself, but it is relatively simple to find a barcode online. You can use your real drivers license for inspiration. Make sure you add a “magnetic strip,” which can be found by searching for a “black bar” on Google Images and resizing accordingly. I have a sample I can post if there is enough interest.

Printing Your ID
Fake IDs can be printed on photo paper or cardstock, but in order to create a profession quality ID, you need a special type of paper called Teslin. Laser printers will not print on Teslin, but most inkjet printers will work, particularly Epson printers. Make sure you print with the highest quality settings. Print the front and back images on both sides of the paper. If you decide to go with photo paper instead of Teslin, use two different sheets, then glue them together, along with a layer of cardstock in between.

Finishing Your ID
Carefully cut your ID out, and make sure you give it rounded corners. Now all that’s left is to laminate it. You can get self-lamination sheets at any Staples, or you can invest in a laminator. Many models are available for under fifty bucks. One last touch many people like to give their IDs is a hologram. Excellent holograms can be purchased very cheaply.
Using Your ID
Many people have different ideas on how to use a fake ID. Most people agree that it a good idea to keep your ID in a plastic covering in your wallet, and offer over your whole wallet if the clerk asks for ID. Also, some people like to tell the clerk to keep the change if they think she’s getting suspicious. This gives her an incentive (perhaps even an unconscious one) to not question the ID.

Fake IDs: Jonah Hill from Superbad buys a Fake ID!

Jonah Hill goes from the porn site king in Knocked Up to the guy who will do anything to impress his high school crush in Superbad including vowing to buy alcohol for her party despite being under age to purchase it.
So Jonah relies on his best friend played by the fresh faced Christopher Mintz-Plasse to use his fake I.D. connection to buy the booze. Jonah admits to the days when he used fake I.D.“I had a fake ID. I had a few. And there were no real stories, it worked pretty well. One time when I had gotten one of them the man who I bought it from was a really shady weird dude who was in college. He was a college guy who somehow figured out he could make a lot of money selling fake IDs to high school kids.”

Here’s a warning to anybody under age thinking about purchasing fake ID. Jonah says he’s lucky he made it out of there alive in one piece.

“He kept me at his apartment longer with conversation, like he didn’t want me to leave like he was lonely or something. And that really freaked me out because he’d be like, ‘wait just stay check out this cool video game I got.’ I was like, ‘well I gotta go!’ I gotta go not get killed by you before you murder me and laminate my genitals.”

Superbad was written by Seth Rogen who submitted the script as a writing sample to Knocked Up director Judd Apatow when he was an actor on the television series Freaks and Geeks.

Banks In China find 2500 cases of fake ids

The People’s Bank of China has announced that Chinese banks discovered 2,500 cases involving fake ID cards in less than a month with the help of a verification network that enables the police to share its database with the country’s banking outlets.The network has uncovered 230 criminal cases from 32 million deals and blocked 100,000 people from making transactions. Considering the numbers involved that is not too shabby. Note most carefully that the ID card in our illustration is a genuine card and NOT one of the fake ones.

Su Ning, vice governor of the central bank, said the central bank and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) will provide all the bank outlets in the country with access to the network as soon as possible, with every outlet having at least one computer used for verification.

Su Ning said,’The network aims to protect the banking system from those who attempt to open a bank account with a fake ID card and rid the banks of all anonymous accounts.’

The ministry’s demographic database has had 1.3 billion entries — including Chinese citizens’ names, ID card numbers and photos. A representative of the MPS said, ‘All these will provide the banks with accurate information for identity verification.’

From April 2000, Chinese people have been required to present their ID cards when opening bank accounts.

Is identity theft going out of style? – fake id

An article by Iain Thomson, vnunet.com 24 Jul 2007 illustrates recent developments in ID theft.
On a more serious note, see his earlier article revealing that 4 million UK users hit by ID theft with average losses of £3,000 and the research that the growing concerns of the user are resulting in avoidance of online transactions.

MU says that the use of fake IDs grows during the early part of the year – fake id

A new University of Missouri-Columbia study shows fake identification is a risk factor for additional underage alcohol consumption, UM Extension announced yesterday.

A team of psychologists discovered an increasing number of students obtained fake ID during their first two years of college, and that resulted in more drinking.

Researchers tracked more than 3,700 students during their first four semesters. During that period, fake ID ownership rose from 12.5 percent to 32.2 percent among students younger than the legal drinking age.

The study also revealed that students belonging to fraternities or sororities were more likely to own a fake ID.

How to Make a Fake ID

Recently found this online, if only it were really that easy to make a fake id.  

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need

• Computer w/ photo editor
• Laminator
• Scanner
• Tweezers
• Razor
• Pot

Steps

Step One

You need an old fashioned laminated driver’s license or ID card, preferable with your picture and name on it. This example works well with the older Washington State ID and most similar laminated cards.

Step Two

Scan the ID as is with your trusty flat-bed scanner at a decent resolution. You’ll need to scan both sides of the ID. Open the files with Photoshop or your favorite image editor.

Step Three

Change the birth date to make yourself (or the hot young girl you’re dating) at least 21. Make sure the expiration and issue dates are valid.

Step Four

Print the photos with the best color printer you can find. Try several times until the size and color match perfectly. Remember, until this time DO NOT touch the original ID card.

Step Five

Cut your copies perfect to size and set aside for later.

Step Six

Take a razor blade and split the laminated sides of the ID in half. Start at one corner and work slowly. Do not hurry and do not tear the plastic.

Step Seven

Pull any cardboard out from the middle. Don’t worry if you can’t get it all.

Step Eight

Get a pan of boiling water going. Drop both pieces into the water and let them boil for 20 to 30 minutes, or as needed.

Step Nine

Remove any excess cardboard or paper. At this point there still may be an impression of the photo on the front piece. Don’t fret.

Step Ten

Take a pair of tweezers and pull the impression off the inside of the front piece. It should peel off like a piece of skin. At this point you have 2 blank sides of the ID with the gold stripping / logo (or similar) still in tact.

Step Eleven

Place the perfect copies between the two sides and re-laminate. Don’t try this at Kinko’s unless you know the night manager. You many need to get your own laminator, but they shouldn’t be too expensive.

Step Twelve

That’s it, have fun at the clubs!
